If I remember correctly, some of the figures used for this plate (figures 4, 5, & 6) have been copied from:
Abbati, Baldo Angelo. 1603. De admirabili viperae natura et de mirificis ejusdem facultatibus liber. Seb. Heusler, Noribergae, xiii + 133 + x + 5 engraved plates. [Nissen 1]
Abbati was originally published in 1589 and the figures used in the first edition were probably the same, but I have never seen a copy of the 1589 edition.
